Malcolm oversees the MA platforms. He brings specific expertise to the platform in the metabolism and biochemistry of microbial pathogens.

Markus leads the South Australian node of MA at the Australian Wine Research Institute and the consortium and node benefit from his specific expertise in aroma and wine chemistry, analytical chemistry and natural product chemistry, and metabolomics.

Mike, the node leader for the UWA node of MA has expertise in clinical biochemistry and method development using mass spectrometry. His main interests include vitamin D and steroid metabolism and analysis in mammalian systems.

Esteban leads the Queensland node of MA at the Australian Institute of Bioengineering and Nanotechnology which main focus is in Industrial Biotechnology. Esteban has expertise in deploying systems biology platforms for the biological production of fuels, chemicals and biopharmaceuticals with industrial applications.
